Zinc Room
CD (ltd. 100) |
The album "Habal Garmin" by the Yekaterinburg-based industrial project Zinc Room is dedicated to the work of the Austrian writer Gustav Meyrink and continues the "literary" series of releases after "Window of Erich Zann", based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and "Poe", dedicated respectively to E.A. Poe.
The permanent project mastermind Alexander "i" remains faithful to the style once chosen: the tone is set by a distorted bass guitar and metal percussion, and their crazy dance is accompanied by a cello, gloomy synth passages and repetitive samples recorded by Andrey "Kein" (Sol Mortuus, Church of Howling Dog, etc.). We regretfully note that this recording was the last for Andrey as part of Zinc Room – in October 2021 his life was taken by the well-known virus...
The album is released by a cooperation of Evil Dead Productions and ZHELEZOBETON Distribution Division. CD-edition is limited to 100 copies and comes in a foldout cardboard sleeve with an insert, digital version is available on bandcamp.
