ZHELEZOBETON news - 11.07.2018

Today we have a special reason for the melomaniac joy – the first vinyl release! Yes, we had one record on ZHELEZOBETON before, but that was a 7" lathe-cut on polycarbonate (ZHB-LXIX), and now we have a real factory-printed 12"EP with the reissue of the last year's Vetrophonia "Russian Universal Robots" tape, prepared together with the new Alexander Lebedev-Frontov's label Ultrasomnambula U. The edition is only 100 copies, so we recommend to hurry until it's sold out!

The mailorder update features new releases from Wrotycz Records (Poland), Wachsender Prozess (Germany), Drone Records (Germany), Volok Records (Ukraine), and some editions of the Russian labels: new CD by Exit In Grey (Frozen Light), double-CD reissue of the classic Muslimgauze album "Vote Hesbollah" (Aquarellist), new tape by Pustota (BioSonar^Lo-End), and a couple of releases from the St. Peterburg's underground label [electrotapes archive].

The July mix assembled from these updates is here:

CDs & CD-Rs

Current 93 -- "Baalstorm, Sing Omega" -- CD -- €10
2010 Coptic Cat, NIFE 010CD
This, the final part of David Tibet’s trilogy of revelations that began with Black Ships Ate the Sky, is his most dizzying and hallucinatory work yet. Stripping back the heavy guitars that have been creeping steadily into Current 93’s music, the songs here instead sound like they have been passed down through generations of Middle Eastern folk musicians. From the image of a young Tibet standing in front of Stonehenge on the back of the album to the lyrical themes of eternities, the weight of time hangs heavy around Baalstorm, Sing Omega. This is a surprising and rewarding change in tone for Current 93 that certainly ranks amongst Tibet's finest work yet. [label info]

The Dark Portal -- "Suicide Cult" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-8, (ltd. 20)
Dark Ambient / Drone Ambient. We present to your attention THE DARK PORTAL with the album SUICIDE CULT. It's a gloomy and atmospheric Drone, Dark Ambient project of a musician from New Kahovka, Ukraine, performing under the pseudonym "Endless Grief". This is truly a landmark work in this genre among the representatives of the Ukrainian scene. We want to quote the author's words about his creation. "SUICIDE CULT was a dark and frightening experience for me, which I do not want anyone to experience!". THE DARK PORTAL, this is not the main project of the musician. In his creative luggage there are more than four works in the genre Ambient, Dark Ambient, Drone and Post Black Metal. [label info]

Dispersive Light -- "Illusory" -- 2 CD-R -- €8
2018 VOLOK Records, VR-10, (ltd. 20)
Dark Ambient / Industrial. A collection of previously unreleased pieces of this Ukrainian project, recorded in various moments between 2008 and 2013. Fold-out digifile.

Dispersive Light -- "Mazurka" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-5, (ltd. 20)
Dark Ambient / Industrial. The second full-length album of the Kiev project DISPERSIVE LIGHT - MAZURKA is a perfect example of how tenderness and coarseness, love and hatred, brutality and purity can be combined. In his work the author tries to say how fragile and at the same time uncompromising can be our life. That we are somewhere on the boundary between despair and divine inspiration, we remain the same simple and infinitely lonely people. Moths flying to the light. We can not do anything about it. We can not change anything. The dance of being continues. And again and again, from our lips sounds a question addressed to the creator. Who are we? [label info]

Dispersive Light -- "Sandy Wind" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-1, (ltd. 20)
Dark Ambient / Industrial. The project Dispersive Light was formed in 2008 in the city of Kiev, Ukraine. From the first day of the foundation, we moved farther and farther into the space of guitar noise. Trying to find the right sound that would become the hallmark of the band. Our material is very fundamental, it is a monolithic wall of sound. In it there are no holes and voids, this granite pile rising beyond the limits of silence. Rude bass is all that is needed for the perfect Dispersive Light music. This creativity, perfect abstraction, perfect form without form, movement without movement. [label info]

Dispersive Light -- "Traces In The Dark" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-6, (ltd. 20)
Dark Ambient / Industrial. Like a mad artist, he paints rough strokes with his brush on the disintegrating canvas of reality. So the author of "Traces In The Dark" shows us the last flickers and sighs of the vanishing world. He seems to give us the pleasure of suffering at the time of death. He tells us, look, look carefully. It happens to you, it happens right now. Do not be afraid of anything, do not regret anything. Walk straight. Follow the trail into the darkness. You have the courage and strength to look beyond the edge. [label info]

Ego Depths / Dispersive Light -- "Follow The Skua" -- CD -- €8
2010 Endless Winter, EW-004, (ltd. 500)
Funeral Doom / Drone / Dark Ambient. Split album by two Ukrainian projects: Ego Depths (funeral doom metal from Donetsk) and Dispersive Light (drone / industrial from Kiev).
[youtube]   [soundcloud]

Ego Depths & Dispersive Light -- "Morkeraed" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-3, (ltd. 20)
Funeral Doom / Drone / Dark Ambient. A collaboration split between Ego Depths and Dispersive Light. It is a profound meditation at the burial ground, among the putrefying corpses and the dwindling lights, left by the unprecedented appearances of hungry and malevolent ghosts. They distract, they confess, they devour, they enlighten. They are an omnipresent malevolence in its vilest shape. Go through, rot and feed yourself to the vultures. [label info]

Exit In Grey -- "Moments" -- CD -- €10
2018 Frozen Light, FZL 065, (ltd. 300)
Drone Ambient. This CD contains one long track comprised of two fragments of live recordings: from the festivals "Notmusic - Itisnothere" (18.03.2017), and "Drёma VI" (21.12.2014). First part of the track is a sort of dark droning guitar ambient with Exit In Grey trademark sound; second part has more bright melancholic mood and synth sound. 300 hand-numbered copies in digifiles with psychedelic forest artwork.

Fasci Di Combattimento -- "A New World" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-9, (ltd. 20)
Martial Industrial from Bulgaria.

2018 Wrotycz Records, wrt029

This time gathered on cd with 3 unreleased tracks from the 3rd minialbum that has never seen the light of day... Llovespell is well known for it’s warm ambient albums released via Sonderübertragung! label. On „Places” Leipzig based project presents a bit different tunes from more vivid, rhytmic, even danceable songs to play in darker clubs to more harsh and noisy sounds (on part „Two”). A must for all Llovespell lovers and other connoisseurs of electronic music... Comes in 4 panel digipack. [label info]

Rice, Boyd & Friends -- "Music, Martinis And Misanthropy" -- CD -- €12
1990/2002 New European Recordings, BAD VCCD1969
Neoclassical / Neofolk. "Music, Martinis and Misanthropy" is a mellow, neofolk and spoken word album that combines acoustic and electronic instrumentation with brutal, Social Darwinist lyrics and poetry. It was created by pioneer noise artist Boyd Rice and an assortment of dark folk all stars: Douglas P. (Death in June), Rose McDowall (Strawberry Switchblade, Spell, Sorrow), Tony Wakeford (Sol Invictus), Michael Moynihan & Bob Ferbrache (Blood Axis). This album is considered a classic, yet defies easy categorization. The music is lilting, hypnotic, and aesthetically quite pleasing to the ear. It features restructurings of works by The Carpenters, Rod McKuen, and Ragnar Redbeard, as well as original vitriolic and humanist pieces and misanthropic tunes by Rice. There is also a plaintive duet of sorts between Rice and McDowall (who would later record an album of suicide songs under the name of Spell) on the traditional murder ballad, "Down in the Willow Garden". A great deal of the music was arranged by Douglas P. in collaboration with Rice and Ferbrache... This album was inspired by Rod McKuen's spoken word albums and Jackie Gleason's romantic recordings from the 1950s. The title and album cover are a tribute to Gleasons's album, Music, Martinis, and Memories. The liner notes thank Anton LaVey, Rod McKuen, Ragnar Redbeard, Lee Hazlewood, Pat Purdy, Richard and Karen C., The Everly Brothers' Father, Walt Disney, Artie De Gobineau and "Big" Jim Huberty. Sky Burial -- "Chapel Image" -- CD -- €10
2017 Wrotycz Records, WRT028, (ltd. 300)
Dark Ambient / Drone. Sky Burial’s fourteenth full-length recording marks a return to ‘epic’ length compositions featuring a single track spanning the length of the release. Firmly rooted in the kosmische ethos, ‘Chapel Image’ is a constantly shifting journey through the nebulous depths of drone and dark ambience with full-immersion being held just at bay by the uneasy dichotomy of low and high frequencies and punctuation of rhythmic and industrial elements. [label info]

Stiff And Cold -- "Like A Snake" -- CD-R -- €5
2018 VOLOK Records, VR-11, (ltd. 20)
Drone Ambient. This is the 4th full-length album of the little known project of the Kiev musician Pavel Burgela. The project is completely studio. Recorded exclusively at night. The music of the project can be described in such epithets as gloomy, otherworldly, sepulchral, cold and harsh. The style of the project is unchanged Drone Ambient. The previous three releases of "Stiff and Cold", "Dress Of Flesh" and "Demons Of Alfred Kubin" were published on the American net-label aReW recordings. STIFF and COLD - Like A Snake strangles you with its monotonous tearing. Slowly fetters your will, fills the heart with fear, and the mind with anxiety. Those who are able to appreciate the music of STIFF and COLD are invited to audition. Dissolve without a trace in the dark stuffiness of an endless fall into oblivion. [label info]

Volok -- "Vyvorot" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-2, (ltd. 20)
Dark Drone Folk. An interesting combination of almost monotonous dark drone background and otherworldly low-pitched voice singing a sort of Russian traditional mournful songs. Like creeping thoughts reluctantly twisting in a head of a forester, locked down in his hut because of endless blizzard... "VOLOK is fear, despair, horror of imminent death. These are chimeras and ghosts that prevent us from sleeping. This is superstition and prejudice, desperation and hopelessness. VOLOK is a mental disease of a prisoner trapped in a dungeon of his own nightmares. VOLOK is lamentation and moaning and gnashing of teeth. VOLOK is the inner darkness." [label info]

Volok -- "Krestoviki" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-7, (ltd.
"Like blindmen we are waving hands in front of us, searching for the way. Like enchanted we are walking in circles again and again. Not knowing what is happening to us. We strive to live this life right, but on our deathbed we are full of regrets and remorse. What do we really want? Do we know what to do and where to go? What do we believe in? In the immortality of soul and afterlife? In something that we see before our eyes? Or do we not we believe in anything at all? Is there any difference between this all? I do not know. I only see that we are fragile, helpless, misguided creatures that have gone astray. Wandering in the dark without purpose and meaning." [label info]

Volok -- "Sukhostoy" -- CD-R -- €5
2017 VOLOK Records, VR-4, (ltd.
"When we close our eyes and plunge into deep sleep without dreams. We return home to a state without a state, into a world without peace, into a god without God. We wake up falling asleep, we wake up to ourselves without ourselves. This must be how death feels like." [label info]

Volok -- "Khorovod" -- CD-R -- €5
2018 VOLOK Records, VR-12, (ltd.
"What in essence is our life? A sequence of visions and sensations. Once involved in this restless whirlpool full of horror, prejudices and prohibitions. We are not able to escape from it. An inner instinct tells us that something is wrong. That something in this dance of events, designed to break us and subdue us, is not true. It is not the harmony that our nature seekы for. What should we do? How to quench the inner thirst of God? Feeling despair, we rush into the abyss of uncontrollable revelry and self-destruction or try to achieve liberation and pacification in a pious and ascetic way of life. But all this is a temporary salvation. These are pills that get rid of the symptoms, but not the disease. The feeling of bitterness and doubt does not leave us for a single moment. How can we throw off the chains? How to achieve freedom? Unfortunately, the answer to this question remains hidden." [label info]

V/A -- "Drone-Mind // Mind-Drone Vol. 6" -- LP -- €17
2017 Drone Records, MIND-06, (ltd. 400)
The newest edition in our DRONE EXPLORERS series, for MIND EXPLORERS, with: NAM-KHAR (Germany), FOR KINGS AND QUEENS (Germany), MARKIAN VOLKOV (Italy) and KEVIN DURR (U.S.A.), ranging from nature vocal-drone to electronic ethno rituals to surrealistic soundscapes. Lim. 400 on beautiful blue-violet-transparent vinyl, with amazing cover-art (a true 3D effect with the use of extra golden pantone colour) by TILMANN BENNINGHAUS, using paintings by British painter PETE GREENING... NAM-KHAR: (Germany): A German collective being influenced by Tibetan philosophy, working in the 'old school' way using analogue electronics and original instruments from the Far East, for the first time on vinyl. The two conjoined tracks consist of dense analogue expanses that wave and move minimally, sparse metallic object sounds and wheezing winds, plus delicate percussion. Very best ethno ambient drone!.. MARKIAN VOLKOV (Italy): This completely anonymous project from Italy excites with hypno-percussive, tribalesque and droning ritual industrial, repetitive structures and samples immersing into echoes and electronic noises with great effect. The two tracks presented share a most captivating tension and power... FOR KINGS AND QUEENS (Germany): After some very promising self-released CD-R's the long track 'Grenzland' (borderland) is the first vinyl appearance for this Berlin-based project [a couple with a professional opera singer], - a deeply surrealistic soundscape with layers of high-pitched sinus tone drones and waves, unreal female voices appear and slowly metallic drones burst in and whirring shortwave radio sounds. Welcome to the borderlands of reality... KEVIN DURR: (USA): Field recordings of water (streams, rain and environment) and vocal whispers seem to be the only sound sources for two highly suggestive, almost caressing nature drone pieces, transformed through clever processing. KEVIN DURR hails originally from Alaska and has been active in various musical project and genres before he started the 'water drone' project with a series of tracks using especialy water sounds combined with binaural recordings techniques and ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridican Response) = two most subtle and fascinating acoustic landscapes. The artwork is a cardboard sleeve covered with coarse transparent polyethylene, containing minor inserts. [label info]

Atomine Elektrine -- "Laniakea" -- CD -- €10
2015 Wrotycz Records, WRT 023
The word Laniakea means the immeasurable heaven: deep, spacious, dark and ostensibly emtpy but still full of energy, matter, structures and bright objects. The same words can be said about the sound on the new studio album by Atomine Elektrine. Further on, the 'Laniakea' album is also characterized by molecular reactions, eroding particles, nuclear fractals, diffused lightwaves and multiversed orbits. Old fashioned modular analogue electronic synthesis combined with modern digital processing is the gravitational focal point on 'Laniakea'. The tracks have mainly sequencer driven narratives with ambient layers of both classic retro styled elements and advanced processed novel sounds. The origin of the 'Laniakea' album is based on two fundamental occurrences: The definition of the galaxy supercluster Laniakea in 2014 and the decease of the Tangerine Dream mastermind Edgar Froese in 2015. 'Laniakea' is simply a homage to the vastness of space and a eulogy to the kosmische musik that appeared in the early 1970's. Three bonus tracks (sketches) are included on the CD version (duration 76 minutes) compared to the digital download album (duration 62 minutes). Comes in a 6-panel digipack with original art by Hypsis (hypsis.net). [label info]

Bocksholm -- "Caged Inside The Beast Of The Forge" -- CD -- €10
2013 Wrotycz Records, WRT 017
The two drunken bastards from Bocksholm (Peter Andersson of Raison D'etre and Lina Baby Doll of Deutsch Nepal) are finally back with a new album and this time they have unleashed the Beast. Any mythological idea that Boxholm has become a great peaceful Eden is from now on eternally disproved. No one is safe anymore, not even the horror of Kisa. Birath - the Beast of the forge - is back and we are all captives inside his devilish mind, at least for 60 minutes after pressing play. Enjoy with a bottle of moonshine. Digipak. [label info]

Contemplatron -- "Delog" -- CD -- €10
2008 Wrotycz Records, WRT 007
After a successful debut album Wrotycz Records is proud to announce the second release of this Polish dark ambient act. The DELOG experience is extraordinary, marvellous, even within the esoteric context of Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibetan word DELOG refers to one who has crossed the threshold of death and returned to tell about it. The person who is recognised as DELOG lays without any sign of breath, pulse or body warmth for many days. During that his or her mind journeys to other realms of experience: the pure display of enlightened mind as well as existence within samsaric delusion and ignorance. [press-release]

Contemplatron -- "Prabhashvara" -- CD -- €10
2012 Wrotycz Records, WRT 016
“Prabhashvara” (Clear Light) – the third album of dark ambient project Contemplatron. Music inspired by Tibetan buddism uniting traditional instrumentarium (gongs, bells, drums) with electronics and Tibetan monk’s chants. Mystic and meditative athmosphere guaranteed. Mastered by Peter Andersson (Raison d’Etre). CD released in elegant digipack (silver inprints and embossed elements) with design corresponding to the album concept. [press-release]

Das Synthetische Mischgewebe & TBC -- "Notre Besoin D'attachement Est Aussi Celui De Rupture / They Never Come To Hit The Public" -- CD -- €10
2010 Wachsender Prozess, WP 31 / Reduktive Musiken, redukt014
DSM is Guido Hübener, living in Caen, France. He is some of the leading modern electro-acustic composers of today. Many mentionable releases he has done in the last years: a collaboration retroperspective for Monochrome Vision or the collaboration with The New Blockaders. Out of isolation he is always looking to work with others musicans in some or other way. So seems to be natural to do a split-cd for Wachsender Process. His track is dry, only filtering effects based surrealistic domestic home noises compostion on object sound. Yes, in some sense quiet, but noise as can be. It's seems the home is a living organismen! Tbc is the group behind Wachsender Process. Their track is a tour de france of cut-up technics. Sometimes loud, sometimes senual quiet with some aural shock effects. They use all technics of modern compostion: noise, fieldrecording, abstract electronics, plunderphonic and ambient in one compostion. It's like a best of or showcase recording. [label info]

Eirikura -- "Reflection of a Higher Realm" -- CD -- €10
2017 Wrotycz Records, WRT 027
Neofolk / Neoclassic / Ethereal. Ēirikura is a musical multi-faceted venture, inspired by the coming of spring, in Prussian and Irish ancient lands. The forces of nature are contemplated, from the germination of existence, through the joys of innocent youth and fresh love that is everlasting, to the inevitable facing of decay and cessation, but with the promise of rebirth and resurrection through the never-ending cycle of nature. Ēirikura brings the listener on an entrancing journey, from start to finish. Using a phantasmagoria of radiant images of natural growth and decline, Ēirikura gently guides the listener to their spiritual gate, eventually to glide in a dreamlike state to higher realms... English, Prussian and Gaelige (Irish) are the languages interwoven, as Ēirikura creates a sense of mysterious timelessness. The varied enchanting soundscape of Ēirikura is created using familiar instruments: guitars, strings (violin, viola, cello), grand piano, flute, oboe, trumpet, drums, to more unconventional ones, such as bandura, zither, bowed psaltery, musical saw and various percussions... The eclectic sound created ranges in genre from neo-folk and neo-classical to ethereal and ambient. Complementing the instrumentals are many united voices of girls’ choir, solo singing and poetic recitals, blended together on ‘Reflection of a Higher Realm’ by Eirikura, to make it a unique auditory pleasure... Among the participants of Ēirikura there are members of Sunset Wings, Romowe Rikoito, Āustras Lāiwan and their friends from Prussia as well as poetess Johanna Doyle from Ireland. [press-release]

Kratong -- "The Bees of Psychic Province" -- CD -- €10
2004 Wrotycz Records, WRT 001
KRATONG is a solo project of Jhonny, the guitarist of Romowe Rikoito (Prussia). All the nine tracks from "The Bees of Psychic Province" show us various musical inspiration of the artist. O Paradis -- "Eon 1999-2015" -- 2 CD -- €13
2016 Wrotycz Records, WRT 026
Two and a half hours of the best moments of Ô Paradis by Demian’s choice – that’s the shortest way to summarize the latest release by this project from Barcelona. Demian picked up 40 songs from a wide Ô Paradis discography generated since 1999. It takes us on the journey through the world of love and solitude, creation and destruction, birth and death. Everything gathered on 2 discs, black and white. Some songs represent important moments in artist’s life, some show his inspirations and musical friendship like the one shared with J. from Nový Svět. You can find here acoustic guitars and electronic loops, movie samples and classic melodies – everything you have ever experienced with Ô Paradis music. And rough, characteristic Demian’s voice of course. Comes in digipack with booklet. [label info]

Sigillum S -- "Studs And Divinity" -- CD -- €9
1989/2013 Monochrome Vision, mv47, (ltd. 500)
Formed in Milan on 23 December 1985 by Paolo Bandera, Eraldo Bernocchi, and Luca Di Giorgio, Sigillum S has been developing their own special brand of a post-industrial audio project of many different natures, where concepts have led the effort and employed sound as a tool for the exploration of the forbidden areas of the subconscious... the result has been a endless paradigm of alien electronic mutations, merging concrete noise research with acoustic transmigration, while visuals and many other forms of media have been also adopted, in order to achieve maximum interaction intensity. Their unique sound is derived from the use of a variety of instruments, ranging from samplers to ethnic instruments, and guitar synths to shortwave generators. In addition to their extensive musical output, Sigillum S also works in the areas of videoart and text... In 80s, Sigillum S collaborated with other italian post-industrial acts like Gerstein and Ain Soph, produced the range of private edition tapes and released some remarkable albums on labels like ADN, Minus Habens and Broken Flag. Getting more attention from the worldwide underground music network, they performed live in Italy, Germany, France, Canada and published more exceptional, influental music on CDs and LPs - "Cybertantrick Quantum Leaps" (Artware), "Dispersion: Sliced Carrions and Pixel Handcuffs" (Minus Habens), "Tidal Surface Tension" (Old Europa Cafe), "Bardo Thos-Grol" (Unclean) etc., to name a few. In 1993, they launched their own Verba Corrige label and kick off many solo/side-projects like Ashes, SSHE Retina Stimulants, Somma, Komplet, Charged, SIMM, Sidra and so on. Re-issued some old recordings like "Simulacra" and "Klimax Axis" on vinyl through Old Europa Cafe, "Private 8788" on special edition CDR through Blade Records, they recorded the "Abstraction" CD for Dirk Ivens' Daft Records in 1999 and went to hiatus for almost a decade. Returning in 2007 with new album "23/20" released by Verba Corrige, more live shows and preparing the whole archive of their music for reissue campaign and digital distribution, Sigillum S are back for the full activity. "Studs And Divinity" was their 1989 album, originally released by Minus Habens only on tapes, now it's fully remastered and expanded with some bonus tracks from the same time, pushing themselves through the challenge of reconfiguration without external reference. Sunset Wings -- "Covering for Solace" -- CD -- €10
2009 Wrotycz Records, WRT 009, (ltd. 1000)
“Covering for Solace", a debut album of a Ko"nigsberg-based band "Sunset Wings", is a widely opened window to the world of neo-folk music. Inspired by pearls of English romantic poetry together with traditional ballads of the British isles and the art of Pre-Raphaelites as well, this album takes you to a marvelous journey in the land of children dreams, sweet sorrow and melancholy. Silver strings of acoustic guitars and tender violin, deep cello sounds and warm flute, harmonica, brilliant piano, brightly sparkling percussion and music-boxes create a golden setting for the gems of William Blake, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Rudyard Kipling, Thomas Lovell Beddoes.. Lulled by Kipling's "White Seal" and gentle MacManus' "Softly now the Burn is Rushing", you will be dipped into a sleep together with nature in Rossetti's "Proserpine", feel the inexpressible sorrow of the loss of a lover in his "Death-Parting" and John Gay's "Ballad". Falling leaves and snow cover the earth, waving trees speak with a breeze.. Would the echo sigh Farewell? Whom should we pray now? And should we?... But nevertheless the flowers are dying, pure souls are on their path to the immortal light, and melancholy is perceived as a possibility to create a beauty around us. Despite the sorrow of lyrics the music of this album more often is rather bright and fulfilled with sweet nostalgic melancholy, it should bring solace and serenity to the tired hearts. "Covering for Solace" is a river of caressing tenderness, the river of enchanting melodies that flows "amid the beaming of love's stars" to the sea of Harmony under the eastern sky... With it's particular sound and temper, "Sunset Wings" will definitely take it's place among famous Russian dark-folk bands, such as "Neutral" and "Romowe Rikoito" (some of "Romowe Rikoito" musicians were invited to take part in this record). All the fans enchanted by the musical craft of Mr. Michael Cashmore won't be dissapointed as well... Comes in a 4 panel Digipack with 12 pages booklet including all the lyrics and charming paintings by Natalia Krutcina. [press-release]

Sunset Wings -- "Lifetime As A Child At Play" -- CD -- €10
2014 Wrotycz Records, WRT 020
Neofolk. "This album is a look deep inside through a chink in this magical door. It’s an attempt to pass this distant light through the prism of our present, and with that to see again those blazing shapes and transform them into a spectrum of variegated butterflies – letting them be strewn with neo-classical pieces, gentle songs, echoes of children voices – recollected images are nebulous but the colours stay invariably vivid. By plunging into these ethereal sounds it is hoped that you’ll find your own flitting blue moth emerging from your orchard far away from the present here and now..." [Aleks Aulaukis] The fourth album by Sunset Wings "Lifetime as a Child at Play" comes in a 6 panel digipack with beautiful artwork by Alexandra Shvedova.

Sunset Wings -- "Shining Thro’ The Veil Of Night" -- CD -- €10
Neofolk. With their third album Sunset Wings follow the line of making the musical setting for the ravishing poetry pearls of bygone ages. This time Night is the lady that covers the entire work with her starry mantle. Old hymns, lullabies and romantic visions shine through the darkness of her eyes... Sounds of cello and violins, guitars, flutes and bells scatter with bright melodies upon the path of Parent Goddess. Raise your head to see the white mares of the moon rushing along the sky, open your ears to hear the ancient drums waking the spirit of Night! The torches burn and Pan leads a procession! Make a step on a bridge across the dream, let the journey starts. Comes in a 6-panel digipack with enchanting artwork by Alexander Vorodeyev. [label info]

TBC_Czepoks -- "s/t" -- CD -- €10
2012 Wachsender Process, WP 30, (ltd. 300)
Czepoks is a German band, side-project of Seeman, also known for Tumorchester and Mono Lueued. He plays bass guitar and melodic line is hardly kept by Gunnar on guitar and Rana "Miss Tone" handling Casio synthesizer. TBC is a project of Thomas Beck, a counter-cultural activist and the most marginal musician in Hamburg, head of the Wachsender Prozess label which has released this strange album - the style of which could be determined as electronic punk. At least one gets the impression that the musicians have completely forgotten how to play theit instruments, and Thomas uses this to bring them into even greater confusion - just as music starts to slowly return to quite mode, he activates his hell-machines which drown any tonal construction and turn it upside-down. Barbarian but very straightforward and emotional album, a great gift to all fans of lo-fi abstractions. Limited edition in DVD-case, 300 copies. [Monochrome Vision]
