2008 Silentes, sme 0721
This is the long awaited reissue of one of the best Aube's work originally titled AQUA SYNDROME, published about 10 years ago by MANIFOLD records. The new reissue included the original album with a bonus track and a bonus live CD. LE SYNDROME AQUATIQUE is an impressive job of deconstruction and resetting of sonorous material to work of Aube, this particularly extended in the duration, treaty and expanded time, much to be proposed in a rich edition in double CD. Through sophisticated and very tested technical of sonorous rework assembled in years of untiring activity in a searching experience, Aube puts molding on and models fragments of concrete sounds of "aquatic" derivation transforming them in unknown drones, noises, pads, loops rhythms-mechanics, constructing a fantastic sonorous tapestry of valuable invoice and incredible impact, and unavoidably bringing back to the memory the first three CD constructed with single water sounds of the monumental one box of 12 CDs proudly published from Amplexus more than 10 years ago. One new unforgettable work for all those who love, and has loved, the avant-guard-istic sonorous experimentations of large the great Japanese master. [press-release]

It arches of it resonances, mantric vibrations, hypnotics bells rings... That features of sounds of cymbals, plates, rings... that tubular elements are used or more ordinary and simple metallic objects of common use... that they are bowed or scraped..., Aube acquires the sounds and of it transforming its essence... decomposing and recomposing the shape... Fragmenting, expanding, stratifying and elaborating the sonorous matter, constructs complex wafts, resounding weaves carpets, interlaces thin threads of metallic tensions, crumbles and agglomerates acoustic particles, leaves to flowlong, reverberating, harmonic drones... Bianchi, Maurizio (M.B.) -- "Dead Colours" -- CD -- €11

Now finally available on CD with restored artwork. This CD was released as part of a trilogy entitled "An Absurd Trilogy", the other titles being "The Self Portrait Of M.B." Bianchi, Maurizio (M.B.) -- "Menstruum Regles" -- CD -- €11
2008 Silentes, sme 0716
Decomposition instead that composition. De-structured music that instead structured music. Not to complex and articulated technologies for recording, mixing of the parts and mastering; not to one sophisticated production and maniacal and defined participations correct in post-production... This the new "challenge" capacity to the extreme limit from Maurizio Bianchi, a new musical effort, "directed", "raw", immediate, absolutely uncompromising new, to outside of every law and from every pre-constituted rule... Fragments of music, short fragments of sonorous material of varied extraction, now short, now long, placed in sequence one behind the other, in a "dry" way, following absolutely unforeseeable times and dynamics. Continuous loops, raw unexpected cuts, noise alternated to musical parts, single sounds, drones, notes of piano, buzzes, soft pads, electric current workers... Two long traces, 75 minutes, a listening experience over any edge and reliable definition... This CD was released as part of a trilogy entitled "An Absurd Trilogy", the other titles being "The Self Portrait Of M.B." (sme 0715) and "Dead Colours" (sme 0717). [label info]
Bianchi, Maurizio (M.B.) -- "The Self-Portrait of M.B." -- CD -- €11
2008 Silentes, sme 0715
An unusual self-portrait of Maurizio Bianchi in a minimal and introspective version, "a discreet" sonic self-portrait, elaborated with soft and nearly abstract electronic sketches, cyclical waves, tangles of intersected sounds, stratified, continuously changing, manipulated and molded through uses of effects, filters, reverbs, choruses, delay... Expanded paces, rarefied and "apparently quiet" atmospheres, but at the same time always full of a constant sense of gravity and heaviness, of vulnerability, always on the extreme border of the abyss that leads towards the unknown, the dark, the not to be defined and the mystery... This CD was released as part of a trilogy entitled "An Absurd Trilogy", the other titles being "Menstruum Regles" (sme 0716) and "Dead Colours" (sme 0717). [label info]

Ishida, Naoki -- "Tone Redust" -- CD -- €11
2006 Quasi Pop Records, QPOP CD044, (ltd. 500)
It's quite difficult to describe the music of Naoki Ishida's debut album correctly. There are a lot of spontaneous and “fortuitous” sounds from casual urban life in that music on the face of it. But it is impossible to be sure that these sounds are on the background of other elements or these sounds serve themselves as a background for something main… There are also some naive and unaffected chords played on acoustic guitar as well as some clinking and iridescent synth waves & gentle drones. Generally speaking, any tunes, any beats. But, on the whole the structure and the nature of “Tone Redust” isn't the typical “ambient” free flow nor “pop” bars + beats grid. Perhaps, the compositions of Naoki Ishida in a manner are deconstructed “digital” folk ballads or scant fat-free jazz pieces. And one more important note: there's not a “ready for use” music, there's just an non-ambitious audio-situation where the music is growing in process of being. This is the fixation on the moment of spilling over from routine life into something more artificial and adventurous… In other hand, this unstable situation exists between classical, everlasting questions: to be (the next sound or note or every event) or not to be. That album follows the traditions of aerial & environmental recordings of labels such Hapna or Lucky Kitchen. All music played & composed by Naoki Ishida with acoustic guitar, synth and field recordings. This is the very first release of artist from Japan on Quasi Pop. [press-release]

Kaniba -- "The Serpent, or the Omega and the Completion of the First Circle" -- CD -- €10
2006 Autumn Wind Productions, AWP008
Thematically, The Serpent is of the Earth and Shub-Niggurath; the Womb of all, the grave of all. Life and Death, creation and destruction, the Alpha and the Omega. The Serpent represents the return to the Source from whence Kaniba came, as Terrorgoat, and a reflection upon the journey from that moment to what is now. It is a union of old and new elements, of old and new themes. The Serpent represents good and evil, light and dark; the giver and taker of life. The Serpent celebrates Life as the gift which comes from the womb of Shub-Niggurath, and The Serpent celebrates Death as the sacrifice craved by the jaws of Shub-Niggurath. The Serpent is the grave, which is a womb, The Serpent is the birth occuring through demise. The Serpent is the undoing of death, and the elevation of the soul that is ascendancy. Most of all, The Serpent is the end. [press-release]

With a service in a temple without a roof, where putrid rain pour, with angels who sing for shot choristers, with sodden wooden forest cross, with endless bells; frescos become a thin pellicle, cigarette paper, through which may be seen the cherubs silhouettes; a kitchen radio preacher, talking with himself, and with the Lord too, yielding to enveloping noise, dissolving in it, starting to speak back to front and oddly croaking, glorifying the Lord like frogs from the parable of King David; someone's regular funeral; singing old woman who is already in eternity, somewhere between a snowstorm and a bedroom community; the requiem of manifold of bells, through which appear the final chants and voices; and finally, the last message - noone will be saved. Its existence is of a transcendent one, it's the path of self-illumination rising from its most disciplined practice to its most oppressive trance inducing rituals. Through seven rituals, Seeker unlocks the seven systems of the Chakra and charges its seven spinning vortex of energy. Invocation of The Sleeper, the first ritual, charges the third Chakra, The Manipura. The Manipura - The Power Chakra, holds fire as the element, the will to act as the verb and yellow as the color. Each and every sound heard is based, manipulated and crafted to charge the Third Chakra and not to produce a musical work for entertainment or a form of aesthetics. Invocation of The Sleeper is an exclusive ritual to self discipline, mental focus and channeling of energies. [press-release]

20.SV -- "Acid Vomit. Human Genocide" -- CD -- €10
2006 Autumn Wind Productions, AWP006
ACID VOMIT - This is the first recording of 20.SV made back in year 2000, when the name was not yet chosen... it started as a nameless project with only one goal in mind, that is: to channel the visions of an industrialized post apocalyptic bio-nuclear radioactive world into the form of frequencies. ACID VOMIT channels crafted frequencies of the birth of the nuclear age and embodies visions of a time to come. It dwells into the fabric of uranium mines, unveils a fragment of the nuclear phenomena, provides samples on the human suffering enclosed in spheres of nuclear radiation and embraces the birth of a new generation... a generation of suffering, filled with despair and devoid of the hope of life. ACID VOMIT deals with the birth of nuclear winter. HUMAN GENOCIDE - This is the very first album... It was built throughout the years... The concept of this album moves a step forward, yet more focused, compared to the demo. In this recording, the frequencies capture a detailed image that can be divided into two parts: 1.) The massive nuclear bombing of the major cities of the world without mercy. 2.) The vision of these destroyed cities, the emptiness, desolation, destruction and the stench of death invoked from such scenes and landscapes of extinction. These two releases together on one CD will form the apocalyptic beginning of a Multi-CD story detailing a world existing in emptiness, desolation, destruction and mass death. [press-release]

Bianchi, Maurizio (M.B.) -- "The Testamentary Corridor" -- CD -- €11
2006 Silentes, sme 0608
Alternating between lighter atmosphere and darker isolationistic moments, Bianchi penetrates deep into the most subtle essence of sound, re-arranging it's elemental particles/grains and creating unbelievable sonic-washes. M.B. says: "Insubordinate discord in five tempos for monolithic keyboards and multicellular dissonances, perpetrated during the autumn of 2005. Dedicated to the lamented martyrs. To commemorate a testamentary event the human beings expend time and care, all theirs energies, but sometimes the results are disappointings... Due to the unconvenient heritage of our rhetorical history lost in the corridor of time." [label info]
Bianchi, Maurizio / Appelbaum, Maor -- "Electrostatic Deflection" -- CD -- €11
2007 Silentes, SME0714
"Electrostatic Deflection" is a new industrial-music masterwork, created through collaboration with MAURIZIO BIANCHI, and Israeli musician MAOR APPELBAUM. It's represents Bianchi's more extreme direction... a sample of whats comming in the future from the historic Italian composer. Amazing impact, immense slabs of industrial sound in motion. Sweeping vistas of intense static energy, storm-fronts moving across the stereo field, an acoustic tidal wave approaching landfall, breathtaking deep and dark voyages through underground abysses... a massive and monumental work. Sounds of Sodom and Gomorra burning... don't look back! An apocalyptic prophecy of sound. Waves of sound that can penetrate the thickest steel-plate. Let it wash over you. At high volume, this cd becomes a very physical experience. [label info]
Hegre, John -- "Colors don't Clash" -- CD -- €11
2006 Dekorder, Dekorder 017, (ltd. 500)
Returning to his original instrument the electric guitar, Hegre has produced an extremely diverse album mutating from hypnotic computer-loop drones to some glorious free analogue noise, from abstract banjo-like sketches to thick washes of sludgy doom metal and roaring noise rock, from divine electroacoustic sounds to otherworldly country-esque and classical guitar picking, all within one track, and often all at once, with small and simple melodies lurking within huge drifts of sound. And not one element sounds out of place here, it’s rather like the collages of seemingly inappropriate bits and pieces create a totally unique surreal and creepy atmosphere. Dozens of small details suddenly appear from nowhere, transforming even the most brutal noise attacks into complex textural arrangements, making this the most essential guitar album of the year. Modell, Rod -- "Plays Michael Mantra" -- CD -- €11
2007 Silentes, 200720
"Plays Michael Mantra" is an atmospheric project by Rod Modell (deepchord / echospace) consisting of two 30-minute long tracks. Here Modell portrays the feelings and sensations that he was experiencing on a recent late-night train ride, where he was listening to "a/b" by Michael Mantra on headphones, and was fascinated with the way a/b blended with the sounds of the trip. On "Plays Michael Mantra" Modell created soundscapes that are reminiscent of that night, and then had Mantra's a/b playing in the background (as it was on the train). Made from delicate chime sequences, synth tones, space-echoes, and recordings of distant trains passing through the night. The overal effect is somewhat melancholy, but very soothing and familiar, like sleeping on a rainy night. Epic and majestic ambient sounds that twinkle like stars in the night sky. Extraordinary for late-night listening. [press-release]
November Növelet -- "From Heaven On Earth" -- CD -- €15

November Növelet is more calm and romantic side of Haus Arafna, most of texts and vocals belong to the female part of the duet. Detached, beautiful and blameless as an ice sculpture music which simply has no analogues.
