Adaptories -- "Katas" -- CD-R -- €7
1000+1 Tilt Recordings
"Took us a year or so till the workings on our rehearsal place and recording studio were over. Walls were built and covered with sound isolation, amplifiers and instruments brought from houses. Still, the place ramained virgin, musically speaking, and lacking a good and thorough test. After serious consideration Adaptories were picked up to perform this act of deflowerement. After three hours of equal amounts of gentleness and brutality, the first complaints by the neighbours forced us to put the trial to an end. The test was considered successfull (complaints did not arrive until past midnight) and one and a half hour of recording through condenser mic, on MD, was available. The test involved: humans (5), laptops (2), guitar (1), contact mics (2), trumpet (1), drum set (1), mic (1), MS-2000 (1), Yamaha DX-21 (1), toy synth (1), metal tubes, pedal effects (2) and amplifiers (2)." Aglaia -- "Unprofaned Twilight" -- CD -- €13
2008 Faria Records, FAR-18 / Hic Sunt Leones, HSL 046, (ltd. 650)
The fourth cd of Aglaia is born from the previous work but, in comparison with them, it develops a wider breath directly from the background’s sounds. The composition is softer and more refined. Again the sonorous world that here is explored is that one of the enchantment, of the mild sound fading. An unprofaned and inviolate twilight, where the different vibrations are balanced, without any sort of tensions. Time rolls by and space too. The sound is a natural matter and gives birth to an intense crepuscolar light. Listening to this music is like to see thousands of fine luminous rays, filtered through half-closed windows. A dance of dust in a never ending movement that catches the light around. With aglaia’s sound we are in an electroacoustic microcosm full of vibrating signs. The first of the two long compositions suggests a natural and quiet landscape. The sound’s mood is a sort of perpetual tinkling, wrapped up a voice coming from the space, that observes from afar. An harmonic accordance between different reality. The second, even though more intimate, is equally shining. Everything happens during a night where insects, spring-waters and moonlight match themselves together. A swarming midnight with underworld life. [press-release]

Allerseelen / Otzepenevshiye / Neutral -- "Georg Trakl. Umnachtung" -- CD -- €11
2008 Ewers Tonkunst, HHE 016 CD
Split-album of Allerseelen, Otzepenevshiye and Neutral is dedicated to a German poet Georg Trakl (1887-1914). Although Trakl is referred to the classics of impressionism, his poems extend further than depicting the corporal collapse, that fascinated Georg Heim and Gottfried Benn. Evgeny Golovin has fairly mentioned in his article "Hypothesis #1" that within his short lifetime Trakl has become "one of the most original explorers of the metaphysics of death." He is occupied with "a problem of getting inside the most mysterious sphere of human existence", and it happens through the space, where usual bonds break apart and appear the new phantasmal ones. In his research Trakl leaves the boundaries of banal contrapositions, his mature poetry isn't dark, but it's completely enigmatic - just as his whole language of poetry. The members of this release tried to present their own musical understanding of the hallucinatory universe of Trakl's poems, where dream and reality, movement and immobility are blended in incognizable proportions. Behrens, Mark & Paulo Raposo -- "Hades" -- CD -- €11
2006 and/OAR, and/25
HADES is based on sound recordings made aboard Lisbon ferries and at the quays of Cais do Sodre, Trafaria and Cacilhas 2001-2005. Both artists had initially set out to record independently, being fascinated with the sounds of the ship hull and landing gear, as well as with the actual passage on the river, which gives a magnificent (maybe the best) view on large parts of the old city of Lisbon. During the course of the work which took three years to complete, some more precisely directed recordings were made together. Understanding the actual crossing as a symbolic passage, and once it was reduced to sound and memory, it became associated to the crossing of the mythic
river Styx to enter Hades, the ancient Greek underworld. As the different sound recordings provide the artists with very diverse material (for example low frequencies from the ship's hulls and motors, high frequencies and beats from the gates at Cais do Sodre), they understand the composition as hovering on the delicate borderline between a soundscape portrait and a multi-strata arrangement, in which things happen parallelly, and individual layers move on more than one path simultaneously. Bisclaveret -- "Amalgame" -- CD -- €10
2008 Zoharum, ZOHAR 003-2

Bisclaveret vs. Bruno -- "Les Mannequins" -- CD -- €10
Zoharum, Zohar 001
12th of July is the day of official premiere of "Les Mannequins" - publication signed as Bisclaveret vs Bruno. The date of edition is not choosen by a coincidence, it falls on the date of birth of Brunon Shulz. In this way musicians would like to pay homage to one of the greatest artists of modern art. Text from the "Tractate about Mannequines" has inspired them to the creation of almost 40 minutes, improvised concept album. This CD is balancing between classic sounds of Bisclaveret and more drone-ambient nature of the band. [label info].
Bjerga / Iversen -- "Play the Oslo Groove Machine" -- CD-R -- €7
2005 Utan Titel, No. 4
Recorded live at Brugata, Oslo, 18.12.04. "A mistake from the printed lead to this release: since the cover were misprinted and there was a recording lying around from Sindre Bjerga and J.M. Iversen, why not release it in those misprinted covers. The recording was made late last year by Bjerga who plays electronics and amplified objects and Iversen on electronics. These two Norwegians have collaborated before but not always with great success as far as I'm concerned. However 'The Oslo Groove Machine' is a major step forward: the densely interwoven electronics that is at various times a bit noisy and uncontrolled, but throughout maintains a certain strength that is captures the listeners attention. File under lo-fi improvisation meets industrial soundscapes." [FdW, Vital Weekly]

Calabi-Yau -- "Compactified" -- CD -- €10
2008 Faria Records, FAR-19, (ltd. 650)
Calabi-Yau (called in the names of two mathematicians (Eugenio Calabi) and (Shing-Tung Yau )) spaces may be that microscopic shape, deep inside the hidden dimensions of string theory. There are many such spaces… According to string theory, space-time isn't 4-dimensional as you might expect, but 10-dimensional. Where are the extra six dimensions? One answer is that they're "compactified": roughly speaking, rolled up into such a small space as to be unobservable at human scales. You are in the forest, it is night, and in a moment you are in space, exploring the phenomena, for which there is no explanation and knowledge in our days…And You hear the sound of loquacious water far away from You. The sky is in front of You…You can observe all the planets to be clearly. And there are plenty of animals around You, which You‘ve never seen before, which are so close, that they are almost touching You. Thought is equal to movement, there is no difference between them. There is only one way to understand these visions… It is possible because of «calabi-yau», spontaneous movements and feelings inside myriads of spaces… [press-release]

2008 Lunhare, zzz - 1, (ltd. 100)

2008 Линия Шума, Шум 0007, (ltd. 54)

Deupree, Taylor / Kenneth Kirschner / Tomas Korber / Steinbrüchel / Aaron Ximm -- "May 6, 2001" -- CD -- €11
2006 and/OAR, and/24
On the night of Sunday, May 6, 2001, composer Kenneth Kirschner, as part of a series of pieces documenting the sounds of different New York City neighborhoods, took his tape recorder to the Financial District of Lower Manhattan to begin field recordings for a new piece. The resulting low-resolution portrait captured the sounds of a deserted urban landscape: the empty, winding streets of old Dutch New Amsterdam, its modern, towering skyscrapers - and a region of the city that, several months later, would be renamed Ground Zero. "May 6, 2001" is a collection of five interpretations by five renowned contemporary composers of the aforementioned field recording portrait. With excerpts from Kirschner's original 2001 composition based on the field recording, the CD also includes pieces by Taylor Deupree (USA), Tomas Korber (Switzerland), Ralph Steinbrüchel (Switzerland), and Aaron Ximm (aka Quiet American; USA), all utilizing the 2001 Financial District field recording as their sole source material. The result is a project that obliquely and subtly evokes the source recording and its subsequent meanings, while also standing on its own as an estimable example of each artist's mastery of his craft. Deutsch, Andrew -- "The Sun" -- CD -- €11
2005 and/OAR, and/21
and/OAR is extremely happy to present this powerfully mesmerizing work; carefully remastered and reissued for the first time on CD format. Under the original title of "Der Sonne", this work was originally issued as a limited quantity CDR release on Andrew Deutsch's Magic If label several years ago. "The Sun was constructed by passing ocean waves (recorded at Rye Beach, New Hampshire), through various digital processing devices. The most articulate of these processors was a tone generator able to isolate and respond to specific frequencies present in the ocean waves. The concept behind The Sun was to make a static music or a kind of music that just shimmered in place. This concept can be traced back to the works of Anthony Braxton in his Tri Axiom Writings, and to Stockhausen in his early serial pieces. As Stockhausen says, "there is a difference between starting and stopping and beginning and ending". The pieces presented here do not begin and end but simply start and stop. The Sun is also a work, in a series of works, I have created to aid in the process of drawing. I call these works 'image drones/sounds for drawing'. The sounds were all inspired by the 'power field theories' of Joseph Beuys and are dedicated to him and his family." [label / author's info]

Different State / Sigil -- "Spazmatic[k] Spell" -- CD -- €10
2008 Zoharum, ZOHAR 002-2
This album, dedicated to A.O. Spare include 60 minutes of pure magic[k]al sounds conceived by two projec[k]ts: Different State and Sigill. Each of them represents a slightly different approach, although they are both connected by mystic[k]al, alc[k]emical, ritual character.
Marchoff (Different State) describes his music as alchembient. This sums his work up perfectly. It’s a mix of illbient a bit in the vein of Coil or Psychic TV, a great deal of alchemical incantations and moans, there’s a lot of elements so characteristic for Different State. In conciving the following material, Marchoff was aided by Laura Marchoff (angelic[k] voice, custom made generator A-23), Tom Westbum (clarinet, sax, alto sax, trumpet) and Janusz Sokolnicki (tube AMP, lead guitar). Sigill is a project consisting of brat salo and Nantur-a duo creating electronic lunar spaces and astral soundscapes using samples and ancient instruments. The material was conceived during winter solstice 2006. The disc is packaged in a deluxe 3-panel digipak. [press-release]

Earzumba -- "Real Ruido Pastizo" -- CD-R -- €7
2007 Editions Zero, #13
Amazing collage music from the Argentinian artist Christian Dergarabedian (C.D.). Within 1.5 - 3 min time of composition he somehow manages to unglue normally sounding music and transform it into a strange surrealistic canvas with interludes of specific sound scenes. The disk sounds like a sound-movie in which psychedelia turns into scenes from gangster thriller, and in general, skilfully written plot unfolds in a very unpredictable way.
Favourite Mirror -- "Aberration" -- CD-R -- €7
2007 Haarbn Productions, Haarbn 009, (ltd. 101)
Belorussian project that definitely came from the depths of metal past, but now has gone quite far away from their roots... You can feel these roots in firm compositional structure, melodies, rhythms, sounds, strictly attached to measures, and in electroguitar, appearing from time to time. And at the same time this is already ambient / neoclassic work with beautiful lush quality-made arrangements, rich in sounds and atmospheres. And actually, much more than neoclassic, because the turns of their musical canvases are sometimes very unpredictable yet interesting! An epic album without exaggeration. Completely pro-done artwork in dvd-jewel-case.

Flesh & Space -- "Kind Hatred to Expi(R)ation" -- CD-R -- €7
2007 Haarbn Productions, Haarbn 007, (ltd. 100)
This Russian darkwave project is often compared to Dvar, and indeed there are a lot of common elements: short songs-sketches, sick grimacing vocals and pseudo-funny melodies. At the same time it's understood why the label itself calls this album "drugwave" - the material is much more psychotropic and crooked than in Dvar, and much more obscure and depressive in atmosphere as well. Completely pro-done artwork in dvd-jewel-case.

Halo Manash -- "Language of Red Goats" -- CD -- €11
2008 Aural Hypnox, [AH09], (ltd. 920)
Guided by nether nectars and dream herbs, oneiric visions and the light of lunar tides, Halo Manash Language of Red Goats aims to be a cartography of cavernous elemental realms and regions, sources and springs that run deep and thick with the fluids of life, death and dream. What was seeded at the Thin Veils has been gathered at Harvest time, and is offered to the seeker as a libation and guide into the ever-liminal, shrouded spaces, for dream-vigils and awakenings. Language of Red Goats is a complete work in itself, but can also be viewed as the first facet of a tripartite series of works that are part of one holistic creation – three faces of the same being. More akin to a primitive fieldrecording in the realm of oneirotropic exploration, than an actual album, the work consists of one lengthy tripartite soundscape. Utilizing only gongs, bells, metal bowls and wind instruments, as well as flocks of birds, the work is in contrast to earlier more refined works that feature a wide multiplicity of instruments and soundsources. Language of Red Goats is a bare, primitive and sometimes raw aural landscape, and yet nonetheless achieves a rare subliminal intensity and an edge of otherwordly luminosity. Comes in a hand finished cardboard booklet, in an edition of 920 copies. [press-release]

Hudak, John -- "Sand Or Stars" -- CD -- €11
2005 and/OAR, and/16
The first piece of this CD mastered by John's friend and collaborator Stephan Mathieu (Sirr.ecords, Lucky Kitchen, Hapna, etc), is unlike much of John's previous work in that it features sharp staccato percussive sounds suddenly dodging in and out, but nevertheless it still has John's "endless" compositional sense written into it. A subtle sense of humor seems to be inherent in the piece as well, as if some of the sounds hesitate with indecision as to whether or not they should make their presence known or perhaps they are trying to avoid colliding with some of the other sounds. And upon listening to this piece, be careful with volume settings at first listen, because the listener will quickly discover another aspect of this piece that is unlike much of John's previous work: sudden volume shifts. This seems to suggest that the sounds are also changeable in temperament as well! The second piece on this CD is perhaps the most meditative of the collection with its muted midrange buzzing that jumps around within the stereo spectrum, perhaps being reminiscent of musical radar signals or sonifications of normally inaudible activity occurring in a planet's magnetosphere, all the while maintaining a benevolent warmth throughout. And what could possibly be described as the amplification of rolling ion particle blasts being broadcast via shortwave radio, tells us that we have reached the third and final piece of this collection of what could be considered as being among John Hudak's finest works. Hum / Misery / Exit In Grey -- "s/t" -- CD-R -- €11
2008 Linija Shuma, Shum 0005, (ltd. 67)
LINIJA SHUMA presents a split-release of three Russian artists: HUM, MI3ERY, EXIT IN GREY. This release is dedicated to one of the most multifaced and ambiguous heroes of the anscient myths and modern social landscape - a crow (Corvus corone cornix, or carrion-crow). It is a shaman's prospector in the spiritual worlds and a foreteller of misfortune and war; a "queen" of carrion and rotten flesh, and a getter of vivifying moisture and rain. A Raptor, a thief, a turnskin, a chtonic symbol of Navia, a harbinger. In any case, regardless of a characteristic, anxious voice of a grey crow is always magical and pricks the ears... HUM - quasi-rhythmic ornithomorph collage created under influence of crow voice and places of living. Sound material of 2003-2006. To all lovers of shades of grey. MI3ERY - minimalistic noise-concrete built on field recordings of crows and atonal backgrounds. Crows were recorded at the cemetary during the period of little crows learing to fly, when the energies of fear and activity unify in these birds most vividly. A symbolical exit of inner self from suffocating embrace of reality. EXIT IN GREY - emotional guitar noise-drone meditation. Bird as a key to the unknown reality, a guide to the other side. A collision... deep experience and elusive images. Dis-identification of a self with surrounding. A new instinct... The release is packed in a DVD-box and limited to 67 copies, handmade. Contains conceptual inserts: three cards and a magic packet. [press-release]
Ierophania -- "Post-military, chapter 1" -- 3"CD-R -- €5
2008 UFA-Muzak, UFA 19, (ltd. 80)
Martial Ritual Industrial. "This track anticipates fullenght album "Post-military", and is thus both promo and single and exclusive track simultaneously. Recorded on April 25, 2007 and marks by itself radical crisis in sound philosophy of IEROPHANIA. Is characterized by low-frequency aggression, plentiful use of analogue shockingly not brushed sounding, every possible linear "clips", active white noise, overloadings and other preasure things. In his basis lay ritual sessions which have been spent by us on Northern city cemetery and in deserted railway depot. On ritual depth is, probably, best, that for today was made by IEROPHANIA. Above this track we worked in complete line-up. He was by expression of that condition of absolute despair, pain and hatred, which has taken possession by us after performances in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg, when we have confronted with the general decomposition which has captured these cities" (information of the project) Malicious, orgaistic hysteria of a funeral cold and eternal darkness. At times, this hypnotic release presents meditative, invigorating, and eerie translations of places and experiences in ways that only Northam can poetically convey. Originally dispersed among friends in 2003, as a limited edition "spontaneous document" CDR, this work is now re-issued on CD so it can finally be enjoyed by more people. And deservedly so. Tricoli, Valerio, Amarillys & Friends -- "A.M.A.R.Y.L.L.I.S." -- CD-R -- €7
2007 Lalia Records, LA 02, (ltd. 222)
Italian musicial Valerio Tricoli is known by his works with analogue electronic devices and acoustic instruments. This mini album was recorded live at the birthday party of 3 y.o. Maria-Amarillys with the help of toy synthesizers and just toys, and then mixed and edited in studio. However you won't call this live recording from the first hearing: synths sound very smooth, just as that pile of sounds, surrounding their space melodies... well-done fairy atmospheric ambient.

V/A -- "Like Music To Their Ears Vol. 1" -- CD-R -- €9
2003 Mechanoise Labs, [mn016], (ltd. 100)
It took over 10 months for this compilation to take shape, but the manner in which the tracks came together as one complete and coherent whole suggests that this slow process of selection and juxtaposition was worth its time. From the opening metallic chimes of Rudra Vena to the mangled drones and suffocating steam of Inoculation, the common thread throughout the disc lies in one simple idea: atmosphere. Whetever it's in the form of slow, scraping noise or tense and rather solemn collages, there's always this willingness to create an audio environment for the listener to wander around in, gaze at or simply submit to while it lasts. Prime headphone material for those late-night sessions. Featuring: Rudra Vena, Hirochimiq, Dusk of Hope, L'Arme a Gauche, Stelladrine, Sobria Ebrietas, Mourmansk 150, Asphalt Leash, Ripit, Chupacabras, Tin.RP, Giscard le Survivant, Zerogoki, Inoculation. V/A -- "Yasujiro Ozu - Hitokomakura" -- 2 CD -- €19
2007 and/OAR, and/26
This is the second of a series of label projects pertaining to film directors. The first one was for Andrei Tarkovsky, the third one is currently in progress and pertains to Michelangelo Antonioni's "Tetralogy" (L'Avventura/La Notte/L'Eclisse/Deserto Rosso). This second release turns its focus upon Yasujiro Ozu's use of "pillow shots" (i.e. short poetic pauses that appear between the acting segments of his films). The term "pillow shot" was not coined by Ozu himself, but several years after his passing in the early 1960s by a Japanese journalist who was trying to draw a comparison of the intermediate scenes to "pillow words" found in traditional Japanese poetry. This is a double CD release with both CDs featuring audio plus a cross-platform compatible PDF booklet containing pillow shots (courtesy of Criterion Collection) and liner notes. Each artist who appears on this release was asked to choose one or more "pillow shots" to use as inspiration for their pieces [...] The sound work featured represents a wide range of artistic approaches, but as always with these projects, the artists were chosen specifically, based on their previous work and on how it might contribute to the collective whole of each project. Featured artists include: ALEJANDRA & AERON, AONO JIKKEN ENSEMBLE, ASUNA, MARC BEHRENS, KEITH BERRY, LAWRENCE ENGLISH, HERIBERT FRIEDL, BERNHARD GUNTER, HACO, JOHN HUDAK, JASON KAHN, HITOSHI KOJO, KOURA, DALE LLOYD, YOSHIO MACHIDA, ROEL MEELKOP, KIYOSHI MIZUTANI, DEAN MOORE (with Michael Shannon), STEVE RODEN, SAWAKO, MICHAEL SHANNON, STEINBRUCHEL, TAKU SUGIMOTO, SUKORA, TOSHIYA TSUNODA. Subliminal -- "Coping" -- LP -- €16
2006 Galakthorrö 018, (ltd. 525)
Pure terror! With his new album Albert Fisch has created such an impressive inferno of hate that hearing it warms the cockles of the heart! Violent analog electronic and machine noise is skillfully structured by the use of pulsating bass frequencies and aggressive vocal performances. The combination of all these elements culminate in a mighty shockwave that just surges off straight into the central nervous system. Powerelectronics at its best, uncompromising, dirty and trigger-happy! The theme "coping" forms the theoretic and emotional foundation, inspiring and evoking ideas, both acoustic and visual. Since the debut album Gracebudd, the development has continued. Those who appreciated Subliminals' contribution to the Kosmoloko sampler will find Coping a particularly successful follow-up experience. For anyone who wants to re-adjust his hate-wavelengths one more time, here is the right tool for the job. 12" LP, black vinyl, sturdy cardboard cover, printed inner sleeve and insert card. Haus Arafna -- "Blut + Nachblutung" -- CD -- €15
2006 Galakthorrö, 006
Before someone else does it for us, we'd rather do it ourselves: the debut album from Haus Arafna is, after 11 years, once more available. In re-freshed sound quality, and with a new look: a 24 page monster booklet which is filled to the top with blood-enriched pictures and texts, with which the listeners can also enjoy themselves visually. In addition to the well-known "Trilogie des Blutes" from 1995, there are three bonus tracks ("Nachblutung"), to listen to, which also stem from this period. These have, however, only now been fully completed in order to be included in this re-issue from mr. and mrs. Arafna. [press release]

Haus Arafna -- "Butterfly" -- CD -- €15
2003 Galakthorrö 014
Third album is finally here, after five years delay. New Haus Arafna album... well, it's very different from all previous works. Some of you who already had opportunity to listen "Fur Immer" 7"-single will definitely understand what I mean. The old fans should be amazed. No, there is even more fascination of the beyond and general darkness. Just like the prominent horror movie which is well done without dead bodies, blood streams and other superficial features of borrowed violence - no need for that while really frightening. All the senses are submerged into fathomless pit of human soul, still continuing torture and threaten with inexplicable force. An awful prophecy and damnable firmness - a bitter grin turns to deadly mask. This album is not so easy to understand, for me it took at least five times to play it back again and again, then something more or less distinct began to standing up against me. On the other hand, there are many people who didn't heard any previous Haus Arafna song, the new generation - seems that for them "Butterfly" should be more accessible. I even think that it could bring much new flesh into the fans camp. According to musicians, this is their first album sincerelly devoted to the true love sense, and logical develpement out of previous releases - like it always was and, I hope so, always will be. Northaunt -- "Horizons" -- CD -- €12
Cyclic Law, 16th Cycle

HORIZONS is a collection of 7 long ambient landscapes, lonely sceneries on the verge of night, places we long for, places we have been, sanctuaries from mankind, devoid of human elements. This is desolation made audible, carefully constructed and layered with deep drones, melancholic tonalities and outdoor field recordings which makes this Northaunt's most haunting release so far. November Növelet -- "From Heaven On Earth" -- CD -- €15
1999 Galakthorrö 011
November Növelet is more calm and romantic side of Haus Arafna, most of texts and vocals belong to the female part of the duet. Detached, beautiful and blameless as an ice sculpture music which simply has no analogues.

November Növelet -- "Magic" -- CD -- €15
2007 Galakthorrö 019
This magically-charged jewel of electronic music consists of twelve new songs. The analogue foundation combines with electric vibraphone and 8-bit surrealism transformed into sound. Melancholic synthesiser melodies and the ethereal voice of Mrs. Arafna melt into a fragile beauty with emotional depth. Unpretentious and lost, a gripping experience. In spite of all this exploration of the depths, there is also the opportunity to roll up the carpet. Mr. and Mrs. Arafna have conjured up a few dance hits, which because of their minimalism and cultured morbid charm, should kick off the party mood for the creatures of the night. These contrast well with the slow pieces – tinged with a breath of experimentation, resulting in a many-facetted, and at the same time very balanced, Angst Pop album. The long time in waiting for the release of this new record will soon be forgotten in sheer listening pleasure. CD in de luxe matt finish gatefold digipac plus 16-page booklet incl. all lyrics. Rapoon -- "Time Frost" -- CD -- €12
2007 Glacial Movements, GM003, (ltd. 750)
One of the predicted swings in the weather due to global warming is paradoxically a new ice age which could envelope Europe. Time Frost is music based upon this concept and uses tiny fragments of music from an iconic European composition, Johann Strauss's Blue Danube. I imagined that tiny pieces of former cultures survived locked in the ice and waiting for future archaeologists to discover and interpret them. I used vinyl lock grooves of the Blue Danube (from the 1968 MGM recording for the film soundtrack 2001). These formed the starting points for the five compositions in Time Frost which were then manipulated and added to and re-arranged into new compositions. Time Frost is an imaginary recording of the mutational process of sound locked into ice and transformed over millenia. Like ghosts of music trapped in an evershifting permafrost. [from the author]

Runau, Karl -- "Beyond Frequencies" -- CD -- €15
1999 Galakthorrö 010
One of the possible associations which come to mind when listening to this CD - this is an engineer-physicist in deep dissociative trip, with exfoliated perception of the world, communicating with his analogue synthesizers under impression of formerly heard early Kraftwerk recordings. Completely abnormal music - highest recommendations.

Ryr -- "118. The Hidden Sword" -- CD-R -- €8
2007 UFA Muzak, UFA10, (ltd. 118)
"...The Gods enter the world, they come to fight with the blind forces of Fate to change them. They fight with the Dragon and the Bull. In reality - with Demiurge, the master of this world. They either win or become expiatory victims. And in the beginning of each new Age, if we are able to see beyond the demiurgic look, in Archetypes and Aeons, the Hero is given the hidden message of Yearning, allowing him to forge the most powerful weapon to open the road of liberation and the way out from the prison of Fate. Archetypes carry the message and unveil the mysteries of science which allow to create the sword..." Even more deep, even more secret. Vagueness. Through the alloy of martial industrial and dark ambient is built the task of comprehending the unexplained. The presence of the mystery of general European myth throught the concrete historical cut. Thundering stretching layers of sound, cuts from the past, overloaded remembrances, dark calling depths, pulsating air of a dream. Wake! [press-release]
